This type of curtain wall uses pressure plate & cover cap to hold the glass to the mullion & transom. Fabrication & installation are similar to the structurally glazed curtain wall, but instead of structural silicone & toggle, we use pressure plate and cover cap to mechanically hold the glass. Different shapes of cover cap ranging from rectangle to oval shape are available which can provide an aesthetic look to the building.
